Getting started

Getting started

Create your account, add your kit, and paste one snippet onto the website you already have.

Lettably adds live booking to your existing website — no rebuild, no separate booking site. You add your products once, paste a single snippet onto your site, and customers can check availability, pay a deposit, and book. Here's the whole setup, start to finish.

1. Add your products

In your admin, go to Products and add each item you hire out — a photo, a short description, your day or weekend price, and how many you own (so you're never double-booked). Group related items under Categories, and bundle several into a package under Bundles if you sell them together.

2. Set your pricing & deposit

Choose per-day, weekend, or weekly rates, set a deposit, and (if you deliver) add postcode-based delivery fees under Delivery zones. See Pricing, deposits & delivery for the detail.

3. Paste the snippet onto your site

Open Admin → Embed snippet, copy your snippet, and paste it onto any page of your website where you want the shop to appear. It works on WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, or plain HTML.

<div data-lettably-shop="YOUR-SHOP-ID"></div>
<script src="https://lettably.com/widget.js" async></script>
Your exact snippet (with your shop ID filled in) is on the Embed snippet page.

4. Take your first booking

That's it — customers can now pick dates, see what's free, and pay a deposit. New bookings land in your admin and email you straight away. From there you approve them, send a hire agreement, and collect the balance.

Tip: place a test booking yourself first, so you can see exactly what your customers see and what lands in your inbox.
